Eusebio Espada Tavira has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial and auditing industry. Eusebio started their career in 2001 as a Financial Control Analyst at Telefónica. Eusebio then moved on to Deloitte, where they worked as a Senior Financial Auditor, providing auditing and accounting services to different companies. In 2006, they joined Citi as a Senior Internal Auditor, conducting internal and external audits in Spain and Portugal. Eusebio later became the EMEA Senior Compliance Officer, responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs for Citi Spain and other EMEA countries. Eusebio also held the role of Senior Operational Risk Management Manager, focusing on Morocco and Tunisia. In 2017, they joined Hoist Finance as a Compliance and Risk Control Associate, analyzing and monitoring risks and developing action plans. Currently, they are working at Inversis as the Head of Internal Audit, where they prepare strategic plans, conducts internal audits, and provides guidance on corrective action plans.
Eusebio Espada Tavira pursued a Degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 1998 to 2000. In 2006 to 2007, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Eusebio later pursued an MBA Executive program at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2010 to 2011. Prior to these degrees, Eusebio also completed a Degree in Business Administration at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 1995 to 1998. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Quality Assessment certificate from Instituto de Auditores Internos de España in June 2023. Eusebio also holds the Funds Expert Certificate (FEC) from Financial Mind, the Profesor homologado de la Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) from Escuela de Organización Industrial, the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., and the Certificación de Compliance CESCOM™/IFCA from ASCOM - Asociación Española de Compliance.
