Javier Povedano

Javier Povedano has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Javier started their career at General Motors as a Tax Planning Manager and later moved on to work at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Senior Manager, where they managed tax and mercantile consultancy projects. Povedano then joined Corporación Financiera Alba - Grupo March as a Director, where they analyzed and implemented new investments. Javier continued their career at March Asset Management as a General Manager and Executive Board Member, where they played a key role in expanding the company's commercial network and assets under management. Povedano then joined Banca March as Management Control Director, where they implemented a new management control system and actively participated in the bank's decision-making process. After their tenure at Banca March, Povedano served as Deputy General Director - Finance Director at Inversis Banco, where they played a crucial role in the acquisition and subsequent selling of the retail business. Javier also served as CEO of Inversis Banco, contributing to the growth of the business volume and promoting new business models. Povedano went on to become President of Bancoval Securities Services before joining their current company.

Javier Povedano completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Law at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1981 to 1987. Javier also attended IESE Business School and studied business and financial instruments valuation methods, completing their studies in 1994 and 1995.
