Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a professional with a solid background in community development and urban revitalization. With a Bachelor's degree in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University and a Master's degree in Community Development from the University of Detroit Mercy, Michael has held leadership roles in various organizations. He served as the Director of Baseball Operations at Detroit Tigers, Inc. before transitioning to Invest Detroit, where he currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Neighborhoods & Development Officer. Prior to this, he also held the role of Vice President and Director of Neighborhood Strategies at the same company.
