Gert-Jan Vaessen is an experienced fund manager currently serving as the Fund Manager for the Deep Tech Fund at Invest-NL since February 2023. Prior to this role, Gert-Jan held the position of Manager at BOM Brabant Ventures from October 2011 to February 2023, contributing to the development of a strong Brabant economy. Gert-Jan's earlier career includes positions such as Managing Partner at Magensis/SAYWHEN, Investment Director at Brinvest BV, CIO at Datelnet, ICT Manager at Achmea, and work in the semiconductor industry. Gert-Jan holds an Executive MBA and a Commissarissen opleiding from TIAS School for Business and Society, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
