Wouter D. van Westenbrugge

Wouter D. van Westenbrugge is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in venture capital and impact investments focused on climate transition and sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Manager at Invest-NL since July 2020, Wouter specializes in climate tech, renewable energy, energy storage, and circular economy investments ranging from €5M to €50M. Prior to this role, Wouter worked as an Impact Investment Manager at The DOEN Foundation, leading investments in startups aimed at environmental and social impact. Additional experience includes roles at Ogin, Inc. in international development, Limburgs Energie Fonds as an Investment Manager, and earlier positions in marketing, analysis, and finance. Wouter holds a Master’s degree in Environment & Resource Management from VU University Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from Tilburg University.
