Paula Hopkins

Paula Hopkins serves as the Director of Entrepreneurship at Invest Ottawa since June 2013, previously holding the position of Manager of the Early Stage Team, where initiatives included one-on-one consultations for over 1000 entrepreneurs annually, managing an Education Centre with over 300 workshops and 3000 attendees each year, and administering several provincial grant programs. Prior to that, Paula worked as a Business Advisor, providing personalized support to entrepreneurs and facilitating public presentations on business topics. From January 2012 to June 2014, Paula was the Eastern Ontario Development Program Coordinator at the Thousand Islands Community Development Corporation, overseeing a Government of Canada initiative aimed at promoting rural socioeconomic development. Additionally, Paula held the role of Business Development Coordinator at the Leeds and Grenville Small Business Enterprise Centre from April 2009 to January 2012, assisting new and existing entrepreneurs while supporting the Centre's Manager. Paula holds a degree from the University of Ottawa.
