Jeroen Nijland

Jeroen Nijland is a seasoned professional in investment promotion and public governance, currently serving as Director and Special Advisor at Invest Qatar since March 2021. Previously, Jeroen held the position of Chair of the Network of Investment Promotion Agencies at OECD International Investment Policy from October 2019 to February 2021, facilitating peer-learning among senior investment practitioners. From February 2014 to February 2021, Jeroen served as Commissioner at the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, aiding foreign companies in their international activities in the Netherlands. Additional experience includes board memberships at the HIDC and Fachhochschule des Mittelstands, work with the European Commission's Task Force for Greece, and various roles at the OECD related to regulatory management and public governance. Jeroen's educational background includes degrees from Radboud University and the Harvard Kennedy School, supplemented by training at Ebbinge.
