S. Alice Chen

S. Alice Chen has worked in the legal and technology industries since 2013. S. Alice began their career at Lateral Link, where they served as Director of International Placements from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined ACCESS Singapore as a Subcommittee Member and Director of Special Projects. That same year, they also became a Foundation Council Member for GITA (Global ICO Transparency Alliance). In 2019, they were appointed as a MIPIM Proptech Ambassador and Guest Lecturer at SMU Academy. In 2021, they joined IX Swap as Co-founder and General Counsel and also became the Digital Securities Sub-Committee Chair for the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA). In 2022, they became a Member of TechGC and Mentor for TZ APAC. S. Alice currently serves as Co-founder and General Counsel for InvestaX.

S. Alice Chen has an educational history that includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from USC Gould School of Law, obtained in 2004. S. Alice also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to their J.D., Chen studied at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities law school. Additionally, Chen has obtained several certifications, including Digital ESOP (DESOP) from InvestaX in 2020, Capital Market Services Licenses (Dealing in Securities) from Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2017, and Regulatory Sandbox for Recognized Market Operator from Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2021.
