Riyad Jazmawi

Riyad Jazmawi has extensive experience in the field of information security and IT governance. Riyad served as the Head of Information Security, IT Governance and Business Continuity at Investbank from 2011 to present, where they developed security policies and procedures, established a security steering committee, and enhanced security infrastructure. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor in Information Security Management, IT Risk Management, and Cybersecurity at multiple training institutes from 2015 to present. Prior to this, Riyad worked at Arab Bank as an IT Security Assistant Manager and Team Leader from 2008 to 2011, and as a Networks and Security Specialist from 2005 to 2008. Riyad also gained experience as a Satellite Communications Engineer at Jordan Radio and Television in 2005, and as a Post-graduate Trainee at Jordan Telecom Group in 2004.

Riyad Jazmawi has a comprehensive education history in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Riyad started their academic journey by completing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Hashemite University in 2004. Riyad then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Heriot-Watt University between 2015 and 2020.

To enhance their expertise in cybersecurity, Riyad pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Riyad is a Ph.D. Researcher at De Montfort University, specializing in Cybersecurity since 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Riyad has obtained various certifications to further augment their knowledge and skills. These certifications include "Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT)" from ISACA in 2022, "APMG Accredited Trainer - COBIT™ 2019 Design and Implementation" and "APMG Accredited Trainer - COBIT™ 2019 Foundation" from APMG International in 2021, and "APMG Accredited Trainer - CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals" from APMG International in 2020, among others.
