Bryan Thomas

Bryan Thomas has extensive experience in the field of compensation and reward. Bryan currently holds the position of Global Head of Reward at Investec, where they began working in 2016. Prior to this, they worked at Close Brothers, where they first served as Group Head of Reward from 2010 to 2014, and later as Head of Reward and HR Operations from 2014 to 2016. Before joining Close Brothers, Bryan held the role of Head of Compensation for EMEA at BlackRock from 2007 to 2010. Their career began at UBS Wealth Management & Business Banking in 1999, where they worked as Associate Director, Compensation until 2003. Bryan also gained experience at Goldman Sachs, where they worked as an Associate from 2003 to 2007.

Bryan Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed from 1992 to 1994. Bryan also pursued further studies in Economics and obtained a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) degree from the same university in 1995.
