Ebrahim Samodien is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in Chief Information Officer roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for Private Bank SA at Investec, Ebrahim has previously held significant positions at Absa Group and British American Tobacco (BAT). Ebrahim's tenure at Absa Group includes leadership as Chief Information Officer for both Group Services and Enterprise Functions, while at BAT, Ebrahim was instrumental as Chief Information Officer for Southern Africa and South Africa, in addition to overseeing IT Services Transformation for the Europe, Middle East & Africa region.
