Jayson Jooste

Jayson Jooste has a diverse range of work experience. Jayson began their career at Misys in 2000, where they worked as a Support Specialist until 2002. Jayson then became an Implementation Consultant at Misys until 2007. In 2007, they joined Investec as a Business Analyst and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Risk IT Service Desk Team Lead at Investec. Jayson then became the CSIT Operations Team Lead from 2014 to 2017. Subsequently, they worked as the Head of Group Risk IT at Investec from 2017 to 2019. After that, they became the Head of Central Services Technology at Investec until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of CIO Enterprise Finance and HR at Investec, starting in November 2023.

Jayson Jooste's education history includes a Certificate in Introduction to Information Security from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2016 and a Certificate in Information Systems Planning from the same institution in 2013. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Stellenbosch University from 1996 to 1999. Jayson completed their high school education at Maritzburg College from 1991 to 1995.
