Jean Dyer's work experience begins in 2006 as a Commodities researcher at AngloGold Ashanti. In this role, Jean conducted extensive research into commodities related to underground support for mining. The findings were used to inform procurement strategy and supplier relations.
In 2008, Jean joined Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Consultant in Strategy and Innovation. Responsibilities included corporate restructuring, business cases, communication strategy, and optimizing current business activities.
In 2012, Jean started working at Step Advisory as a Manager. Jean managed various client projects, including a growth strategy development project for a leading short-term insurance client. Jean Dyer completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations and Affairs at Stellenbosch University from 2001 to 2004. Jean then pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A. Hons) in International Relations and Affairs at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2005. Jean furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations and Affairs from the London School of Economics & Political Science from 2006 to 2007. Prior to their university studies, Jean completed their Matriculation at St Stithian's Girls' College.
