Kerry Ann Schmidt

Kerry Ann Schmidt is a seasoned professional in the finance and risk management sectors, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Investec for Business and Head of Credit Risk at Investec since April 2018. Prior to this, Kerry Ann held the position of Head of Credit at Investec Import Solutions from June 2016 to May 2023, and was Credit & Risk Manager at Blue Strata Trading from September 2004 to May 2023. Kerry Ann began the career as a Buyer at Flour Daniel from January 2002 to August 2004. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Economics and Accounting, along with a BCom Honours in Investment Management, both obtained from Rand Afrikaans University between 1999 and 2003, following a Senior Certificate from Mondeor High School earned in 1998.
