Justin Rainey

Justin Rainey currently serves as the SVP, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) at UMB Bank since September 2021, where responsibilities include establishing a proactive information security and privacy program and advising leadership on various risks. Justin holds leadership roles in several organizations, including Chair of the CISO Advisory Committee at the Investment Company Institute and as a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member at Summit Technology Academy. Previous experience includes significant positions at Invesco Ltd., where responsibilities spanned overseeing global security priorities and managing large security budgets. Justin’s contributions to the field extend to authorship of the HCISPP Study Guide for healthcare information security certification. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Political Science (Pre-Law) from the University of Houston and advanced education from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
