Laurie Cipriano

Laurie Cipriano, CMP, is an accomplished professional in conference management with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Conferences at the Investment Company Institute since March 2016, Laurie has previously held leadership roles such as Director of Meetings at the American Educational Research Association from May 2008 to February 2016, and Director of Conferences at National Trade Productions from 2005 to 2008. Additional experience includes Director of Meetings and Events at the American Society of Interior Designers from 2004 to 2005, as well as Senior Manager for SUPERCOMM at TIA from 1995 to 2004. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The George Washington University, obtained between 1987 and 1991.
