Anastasia Elia

Anastasia Elia, CFA has a solid work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Anastasia currently holds the position of Managing Director and Head of Private Equity at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Principal in Private Equity at the same company from 2021 to 2024.

Before joining IMCO, Anastasia worked at CPP Investment Board for several years, starting in 2010. During their tenure at CPP Investment Board, they held various roles such as Principal in Funds and Relationship Investments in both the Private Equity and Public Markets divisions. Anastasia also worked as a Senior Associate in Relationship Investments.

Earlier in their career, Anastasia gained valuable experience as a Summer Associate at CPP Investment Board in 2009 and as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS from 2005 to 2008. Anastasia started their career as an Analyst at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in 2004. Overall, Anastasia has a strong background in finance and has worked in different capacities within the industry.

Anastasia Elia, CFA received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in 2010 from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Management and Finance through the Specialist Co-op program. In 2011, they also obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
