Andrew Beamer has a diverse work experience in the legal and investment management field. Andrew started their career in 2004 as a Summer Student at NHLPA. Andrew then worked as an Associate at Bennett Jones from 2005 to 2010, followed by a role as Legal Counsel at Mackenzie Investments from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, Andrew served as a Senior Associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP. Andrew joined Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) in 2018, where they held the position of Vice President, Enterprise Legal until 2020. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President, Investments Legal at IMCO.

Andrew Beamer completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree at Queen's University from 1999 to 2003. Andrew then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Western University from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in the Canadian Securities Course (Honours) from CSI Global Education Inc. and Grade 8 Piano (Honours) from The Royal Conservatory of Music.
