Danny Lau

Danny Lau has extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence and data engineering. Danny is currently working as a Data Engineer Lead at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked at MNP Digital as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant from May 2020 to January 2024. Before that, they were a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at T4G Limited from August 2006 to May 2020. Danny has also held positions as a Senior Marketing Analyst at Rogers Communications from June 2003 to July 2006, and as a Database Marketing Analyst at Microsoft in 2002.

Danny Lau earned a B.Math degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo between 1998 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Microsoft and Alteryx, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft in May 2023.
