Darlene Kang

Darlene Kang, CCP has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Darlene'smost recent role is an ongoing position as the Senior Director of Total Rewards and HR Operations at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Compensation and Total Rewards at IMCO from January 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining IMCO, Darlene worked at CIBC for 8 years. Darlene'sroles at CIBC included Director of Total Rewards, Executive Compensation from January 2017 to January 2021, Senior Consultant of Executive Compensation from July 2015 to January 2017, and Consultant of Executive Compensation from September 2013 to July 2015.

Darlene's career started at Mercer in 2008, where they worked as a Senior Compensation Consulting Analyst in HR Consulting from April 2012 to September 2013 and as an Actuarial Analyst in Retirement Consulting from February 2008 to April 2012.

Darlene also had a brief stint at Hewlett-Packard as a Business Analyst from July 2007 to January 2008.

Darlene Kang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Queen's University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Darlene also holds a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork.
