Gideon Ong, MBA, CAIA, currently serves as a Senior Business Systems Consultant at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since August 2023. Prior to this role, Gideon gained experience as a Client Manager at Charles River Development from December 2018 to February 2023, focusing on Charles River IMS, Azure, Cloud migration, and technology strategies within the FinTech sector. From June 2012 to June 2018, Gideon held positions at Mawer Investment Management as Manager of Business Technology and Business Analyst, working with various systems including Advent Portfolio Exchange and Bloomberg. Earlier experience includes roles as a Business Support Analyst at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan and Account Manager at RBC Dexia Investor Services, along with a Senior Analyst position at Morneau Shepell. Gideon holds an Executive MBA from the Haskayne School of Business, an Honours BA in Economics from York University, and a Certificate of Business Analysis from the University of Toronto.
