Raneet Aggarwal

Raneet Aggarwal, CA CFA, has an extensive and diverse work experience in finance and accounting. They have held various leadership roles in renowned companies such as Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), TD, Manulife, CIBC, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG.

At IMCO, Raneet currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and previously held the position of VP Corporate Finance. In these roles, they have led teams of finance professionals and managed functions including enterprise wide controllership, financial reporting, accounting, policy, advisory, controls, governance, corporate treasury, business planning/analysis, valuation, and procurement. Additionally, they have implemented leading technologies and systems, such as cloud solutions and process automation.

Prior to IMCO, Raneet worked at TD as a Senior Consultant in Finance. At Manulife, they held multiple roles including Chief Accounting Officer for the Investment Division and VP of Investment Finance. They were responsible for managing global teams and overseeing controllership for investment businesses with substantial assets. They also played a key role in financial reporting, strategic planning, expense management, budgeting, and accounting policy.

During their time at CIBC, Raneet served as a Senior Director in Finance. Here, they were accountable for the global bank's external and internal statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring the integrity of the reporting infrastructure and providing effective controllership.

They also have prior experience at Deloitte, where they worked as an Audit Manager specializing in large Canadian and international banks and broker/dealers. At EY, Raneet worked as a Supervisor in Accounting and Advisory Services, and at KPMG, they held a senior-level position.

Throughout their career, Raneet Aggarwal has demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, risk management, auditing, and consulting. They possess a strong understanding of financial reporting standards and have successfully managed teams and implemented strategic initiatives in various organizations.

Raneet Aggarwal, CA CFA, holds a B Com (Hons) degree in Commerce from Delhi University. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 1999 and the Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1994.
