Veneza Baptista

Veneza Baptista has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Veneza began their career as an Assistant Manager at Gap Inc. in 2000 and later worked as an Account Coordinator at Absolute Recruitment. In 2006, they joined Hudson's Bay Company as a Campus Recruiter before transitioning to the role of Talent Management and Organizational Capacity Specialist at William Osler Health System in 2008. Veneza then served as the Manager of Talent Solutions at Halton Healthcare Services from 2011 to 2016. Veneza worked as an HR Business Partner at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Manager, Human Resources at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) since 2018 and was recently promoted to the role of Senior Director, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Throughout their career, Veneza has demonstrated expertise in talent planning, recruitment, workforce planning, retention and succession management, leadership development, and employee engagement.

Veneza Baptista holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto. Veneza also obtained the certification of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation in January 2024.
