Elissa Motley

Elissa Motley has a range of work experience in human resources and executive assistance roles. Elissa started their career as an Executive Assistant at Rail Europe Group in 1997 and held that position until 2000. Elissa then worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of The Broe Companies from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they served as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, COO, and CFO at Wellbridge. In 2007, they joined PRO Group Inc as an Executive Administrator, a role they held until 2010. Elissa's most recent work experience includes roles at Investments & Wealth Institute, where they started as an Executive & HR Assistant and Talent Acquisition Specialist in 2011. Elissa then progressed to become Human Resources & Administration Manager from 2018 to 2020, then Associate Director of Human Resources in 2020, and currently serves as the Human Resources Director starting in November 2021.

Elissa Motley received their Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality and Service Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Hotel Technology from State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill, where they studied from 1986 to 1988.

In addition to their academic background, Elissa Motley has obtained several certifications. In July 2019, they earned the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Elissa became a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute in November 2011. Furthermore, in February 2018, Elissa obtained the aPHR certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Currently, they are working towards achieving the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI, with an expected completion date in January 2023.
