Dylan Zurawell

General Manager at Investopedia

In 2011, Dylan joined Investopedia as a Product Manager and in the following six years held increasingly senior roles within product, operations and marketing until becoming Investopedia's General Manager in 2018 following Dotdash's acquisition of Investopedia. As GM, Dylan is responsible for Investopedia's strategy and operations.

Dylan began his career as a business analyst for the Claims and Recoveries branch of Alberta Justice, a provincial justice department in his home country of Canada. The Claims and Recoveries branch oversaw the administration of a variety of programs including the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Program and the Fines Enforcement Program, among others. As a business analyst Dylan was involved in a wide range of IT and finance projects for the branch, including development of an information system to collect online payments and development of financial forecasting tools to manage the branch's annual budget. In 2011 he and his team were awarded the Deputy Minister of Executive Council Service Excellence Award for their work on modernizing the services offered to clients of the various Claims and Recoveries branch programs.

Dylan received a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Management Information Systems, from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
