Jean-Guy Gravel is a seasoned professional in the financial sector, currently serving as Principal Advisor for Commercial Financing Compliance at Investissement Québec since September 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Securities Compliance Inspector at the Autorité des marchés financiers (Québec) and Compliance Advisor at Desjardins. Jean-Guy has also held various analytical positions at CIBC Asset Management, PSP Investments, and the National Bank of Canada Treasury, specializing in governance, OTC derivatives, and derivative product accounting. Jean-Guy initiated a career in finance as an Investment Agent at National Bank of Canada Discount Brokerage and has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from HEC Montréal, supplemented by training from the Canadian Securities Institute.
