Michel Poirier

Michel Poirier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in foreign direct investment and business development. Currently serving as Director of Foreign Direct Investment for the US West Coast at Investissement Québec since September 2021, Michel aids American companies in expanding into Quebec. Prior roles include serving as a consultant for CIDEP, where support was provided to economic development organizations in Canadian investment prospecting, and as Marketing and Business Development Manager at Gestion Luc Gendron, where Michel identified and engaged potential clients in various industrial sectors. Michel's background also includes significant positions in international business development, having directed efforts for the Invest in France Agency, as well as roles in research and survey management. Michel holds a Master's degree in International Business from HEC Montréal, alongside degrees in Economics and Social Sciences from Université de Montréal and the University of Geneva.
