Richard Sychterz

Richard Sychterz, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Advisor in Private Equity & Debt at Investissement Québec since October 2019. Prior to this role, Richard was a Senior Financial Analyst in Advisory at BDO from October 2016 to October 2019, where responsibilities included conducting valuation and financial analysis for M&A, intellectual property, and financial instruments, as well as performing comprehensive due diligence in the Canadian mid-market sector. Richard has also contributed as a Board Member for Young Professionals in M&A from November 2016 to February 2019, and worked as an Internal Auditor/SOX Compliance professional at CGI and BRP from July 2013 to October 2016. Richard holds a CPA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (2012-2014) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from HEC Montréal (2009-2012), along with a designation as a Chartered Business Valuator from York University.
