Seyma Nur Kara

Seyma Nur Kara has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Seyma Nur is currently working at Invicti Security, where they started as a Quality Assurance Team Lead in 2020 and progressed to become a QA Senior Manager in 2021. In 2022, they moved on to become a Senior Engineering Manager before eventually assuming the role of Director of Engineering in 2024. Prior to joining Invicti Security, Seyma worked at Netsparker as a Quality Assurance Team Lead and later as a QA Senior Manager. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as the Security Test Delivery Management Team Lead at Sony Electronics, as a Business Analyst at Turkcell Technology Research and Development, and as an IT Test Engineer at Ericsson. Seyma also had intern and part-time roles at BOTAS and Karo Group, Inc., respectively.

Seyma Nur Kara completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from Ege University and the State University of New York at Fredonia in the years 2006-2012. Seyma Nur later pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering from Ege University from 2013-2017. In addition, they obtained several certifications including a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2022, CERTIFIED ETHICAL HACKER from EC-Council in 2018, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in 2018, and various LinkedIn certifications related to business analysis, project management, and cross-cultural intelligence.
