Invictus Academy of Richmond is an independent, startup charter school in Richmond, CA. Our mission is to prepare 100% of students in grades 7-12 to thrive in the colleges of their choice, solve relevant problems, and communicate with confidence. Our school model is constructed in service of this mission. We offer an extended school day, personalized learning, speech and debate instruction for every middle school student, and advising/mentoring. A commitment to equity is at the core of our mission, and we anticipate that we will serve a high percentage of historically underserved students. We deeply believe that the quality of our school cannot exceed the quality of our teachers, and in that spirit, we offer 24 calendar days each year and two hours each week of professional development, along with robust coaching and individualized support. Our culture is responsive and supportive, and we create ample time and space for team members to build relationships throughout our organization.
