Robert Lipsett has over 14 years of work experience in various roles related to cyber security and system engineering. Their recent experience includes working as a Cyber Security Engineer at Invictus International Consulting, LLC where they provided engineering support for Full Path RMF and DevSecOps Programs for both cloud and on-prem. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Architect Team Lead at New River Systems. Robert's experience also includes working at Cyberspace Solutions as a System Engineering Team Lead where they led a team to provide engineering support for six major cloud-based cybersecurity focused project areas for the IC community. robert spent several years at BAE Systems, Inc. where they held various positions including Site Security Event Manager, High-Performance Computing Sys Admin Sr. Prin, Data Analytics Engineer, SWASN Application Service Provider- Field Service Representative, Task Lead, Information Assurance Security Team, Senior Information Assurance Security Engineer, Senior Enterprise IA Security Engineer where they provided security, information assurance, and policy and guidance expertise for Intelligence Community transformation activities/strategies.

Robert Lipsett has a diverse education history, beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from New Mexico Highlands University in 1982. robert then earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico in 1984. In 1989, Lipsett obtained a Master's in Management with a focus on Engineering Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Finally, in 1998, they received a Diploma in Military Strategic Studies, General from USAF Air Command and Staff College. Lipsett has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the CISSP, Comptia Security Plus, ITILv3 Foundation, and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP). Most recently, they received the Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK certification from AttackIQ in January 2021.
