Penny Farthing

Penny Farthing has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Penny started their career as an Assistant Buyer at Kmart Corporation's Super Kmart Division in 1993 and later moved on to Sears Holdings Corporation's Super Kmart Grocery Division as an Assistant Buyer/Advertiser. During their time in these roles, Penny achieved recognition for their merchandising revenue and successfully implemented consumer giveaway programs to boost sales and profit.

In 2005, Penny joined CROSSMARK as a Retail Representative on the Mondelez International Dedicated Team. Penny held this position for almost a decade before transitioning to their next role.

In 2014, Penny became a Co-Owner of PS Inspired Properties LLC, where they worked on various construction projects, including new constructions, renovations, remodels, and additions. Penny provided free estimates and references to prospective clients.

In 2015, Penny expanded their career into the insurance industry by becoming an Independent Life and Health Insurance Agent at InVida Financial Network. Penny later took on the role of Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist, focusing on building careers in life insurance sales and expanding the company nationwide. Throughout their tenure at InVida, Penny demonstrated their passion for helping people and offered their services free of charge.

Penny has recently taken on the position of Agency Director at InVida Financial Network, where they continue to assist others while also leading a team. Their dedication to providing meaningful careers and work-life balance has made their an asset to the company.

Penny Farthing completed their high school education from Dan River High School between 1984 and 1987. During this time, they focused on accounting and business/management, merchandising, and computer applications. Penny did not obtain a degree during this period, but they studied business management and merchandising. In terms of additional certifications, Penny obtained the PA Life and Fixed Annuities, Accident and Health License from Insurance Pennsylvania in November 2017. In March 2016, they acquired the NC Life, Accident & Health or Sickness certification from the North Carolina Department of Insurance. Additionally, they obtained the VA Life and Annuities and Health certification from the Virginia Bureau of Insurance in September 2015.
