Rounak Mehta

Rounak Mehta is an accomplished Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Invisible AI since February 2022, previously serving as a Perception Engineer at Luminar Technologies from March 2017 to February 2022. Rounak gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant for the Ford Next Generation Vehicle Project at the University of Michigan, where contributions included utilizing photo-realistic simulations for vehicle detection, culminating in a paper submitted to ICRA 2017. An internship at Autodesk involved quality assurance automation, during which nearly 100 test cases were fixed and 15 new automated test cases for AutoCAD were created. Additionally, Rounak's early experience as an Operations Intern at Rolls-Royce focused on managing assembly line operations and optimizing production schedules using lean management principles. Rounak holds a Master’s Degree in robotics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
