Luis Angel Fernandez

Luis Angel Fernandez has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Luis Angel started their career at EuroRedes Comunicaciones as a Sysadmin in 1998. Luis Angel then moved on to Equifax as a cybersecurity specialist from 2000 to 2002, and subsequently worked at IBM as a Networking & Cybersecurity specialist from 2002 to 2003. In 2003, they joined GMV as a cybersecurity specialist until 2004. From 2005 to 2006, they worked at Matchmind as a cybersecurity specialist.

Luis Angel then joined Telefónica in 2005 as an SOC Manager, where they were responsible for Anti-Fraud operations for financial institutions in Europe and LATAM. During their time at Telefónica, they also conducted eCrime research and developed new e-products and services.

In 2010, Luis joined Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico de Catalunya as the Head of the CyberCrime Research Team. Luis Angel played a key role in designing and patenting Anti-Fraud technologies and conducting research on eCrime malware techniques to develop new protection solutions.

In 2012, they joined AIUKEN SOLUTIONS as the Research & Development Director, where they stayed until 2018.

From 2014, Luis has been working at Invisible Bits as the CEO & Founder. Luis Angel'sresponsibilities include business strategies development and designing new cybersecurity technologies.

In 2015, they also held the position of CTO at Red Points, where they developed the company's strategy for technological needs and designed an Anti-Piracy technological platform.

Luis Angel Fernandez earned a Grado degree in Tecnología informática/Tecnología de sistemas informáticos from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Luis Angel completed their degree from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they obtained an OSSTMM certification from ISECOM in May 2005.
