Mariah Summers has a diverse work experience history. Mariah first started as an intern at NBC in 2007, where they worked for Dateline NBC. Mariah then went on to intern at Portland Tribune in 2008 and Willamette Week in the same year. In 2009, they worked as an Investigative Team Intern at New York Daily News.

In 2010, Mariah joined the Financial Times as a Reporter for FTfm and FundFire, covering the institutional asset management industry. Mariah stayed with the Financial Times until 2013. During their time there, they also contributed to the Financial Times' fund management supplement, FTfm.

Following their stint at Financial Times, Mariah joined BuzzFeed as a Staff Writer, covering travel, hospitality, and real estate for the Business vertical. Mariah worked there from 2013 until 2015.

In the same year, Mariah joined Invisible North as the Insights and Strategy Lead. Their role involved uncovering deep strategic insights on culture, business, media, and tech to inform the company's experiential strategy.

Lastly, Mariah founded their own content marketing studio called SUMMERS GROUP in 2015. As the Partner and Head of Content, they help brands improve their communication and connections with customers, offering services such as content strategy, copywriting, thought leadership generation, and more.

Mariah Summers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon from 2005 to 2008. Mariah pursued further education at the Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism and obtained a Master of Science degree, but the field of study was not specified.
