Melissa McCafferty (PhD)

Melissa McCafferty (PhD) has an extensive work history in the field of Workday Data Conversion. Melissa most recently worked at Invisors as the Manager of Workday Data Conversion EMEA, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they held roles as a Workday Data Conversion Consultant at Collaborative Solutions, LLC from October 2021 to September 2022, at OneSource Virtual from October 2018 to October 2021, and at Kainos from January 2018 to September 2018.

Before specializing in Workday, Melissa worked as a Data Research Analyst at Metacompliance Ltd from January 2017 to January 2018. Melissa also has experience in education, serving as a Periodic Demonstrator/Facilitator on a GIS MSc Course at Ulster University from October 2009 to June 2014, and as a Teacher at Coleraine College from January 2009 to June 2009. Melissa started their career as a G.I.S Officer at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council from January 2007 to August 2007, and as a Surveyor at CCS Survey Co from November 2006 to January 2007.

Melissa McCafferty (PhD) began their education at Ulster University in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geography. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2005, they continued their education at Ulster University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geographical Information Systems (G.I.S) in 2007. Subsequently, in 2007-2008, Melissa attended Liverpool Hope University and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E) specializing in Geography Teacher Education. Finally, from 2009 to 2014, they returned to Ulster University to pursue a PhD in Social/Environmental Science.
