Ben Jussila

Technical Applications Scientist at InVivo Biosystems

Ben Jussila has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2011. Ben began their professional career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota's Department of Genetics, Cell Biology & Development in 2011. In 2012, they took a role as a Summer Student Employee at Cliffs Natural Resources, followed by a Summer Internship at R&D Systems in 2013. That same year, they were a Junior Scientist at the University of Minnesota. In 2014, they became a Laboratory Technician and Lab Manager at the University of Utah, where they oversaw daily operations in the lab and performed experiments to contribute to research. In 2018, they began working at InVivo Biosystems as a Technical Applications Scientist and an R&D Scientist, Genome Editing & Assay Development.

Ben Jussila obtained their Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development from the University of Minnesota between 2010 and 2014. In April 2018, they earned a certification in Ethical and Social Challenges of Genomic and Precision Medicine from Coursera.
