Robert J. Rosenthal

Dr. Rosenthal brings more than 25 years of experience to InVivo’s Board of Directors. Currently, Dr. Rosenthal is Director of the Board, Chair of the Audit Committee, and a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee for InVivo. Dr. Rosenthal is an accomplished executive and business leader in the biotechnology, therapeutics, and medical device industries. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Taconic Biosciences, Inc., where he also held the position of Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, Dr. Rosenthal currently serves as a director of the Bruker Corporation, and a director of Galvanic Applied Sciences, Inc. Previously, Dr. Rosenthal served as a Director of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., and as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Dr. Rosenthal has also served in a variety of senior management positions with companies involved in the development of therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and life sciences tools, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of IMI Intelligent Medical Implants, AG, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Magellan Biosciences, Inc. Earlier in his career, Dr. Rosenthal served in senior management positions at PerkinElmer, Inc. and Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. Dr. Rosenthal holds a Ph.D. from Emory University and an M.S. from the State University of New York.
