Caistarrin Mystical has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. They started their career in 2007 as a Webmaster for SewingMachinesPlus.com, where they managed an e-commerce website and contributed to company growth. In 2010, they joined Nova Voice and Data Systems as a Web Developer, responsible for managing an e-commerce information system and improving sales volume and operational efficiency.

In 2013, Caistarrin Mystical transitioned to ProQuest as a Software Developer, working on the development of RefWorks 3, a bibliographic reference management tool. They focused on back-end functionality, designed object structures, and implemented server-side code for new features. Additionally, they refactored legacy code to improve efficiency and ease of maintenance. They also contributed to ProQuest Flow, a browser-based bibliographic reference manager, where they worked on business logic.

In 2017, Caistarrin Mystical moved to Invivoscribe as a Software Engineer. They performed software engineering tasks for MyInformatics Annotation and Reporting Software and internal projects. They collaborated with the Bioinformatics team to design software tools and features appropriate for their subject domain. They also ensured software validation processes complied with FDA regulations. Later, in 2019, they assumed the role of Senior Software Engineer and became the development lead on MyInformatics software projects. They were responsible for maintaining legacy software and leading the design and development of a new and improved application based on user requirements.

Caistarrin Mystical obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Baker College between the years 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, between 2000 and 2005, Caistarrin attended Palomar College and earned a Certificate of Proficiency in Web Development: Java/Open Source, as well as an Associate's Degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Arts and Humanities.
