Anshuman Kapoor has worked in various roles since 2009. In 2009, they were a Summer Intern at Tata Motors Ltd., where they completed a project on "Designing a 2-speed gearbox for an electric vehicle". In 2010, they were a Summer Intern at Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (I) Ltd., where they gained experience about the working of production lines in a factory. In 2011, they were an Intern Trainee at Space Applications Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). From 2013 to 2016, they were at Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (I) Ltd., where they were an Executive Engineer responsible for managing a team of up to 80 contract laborers and for efficient production of high quality air conditioners. Anshuman also applied techniques such as TQM, 6-σ, 5S, Monozukuri, Kaizen, 5 Whys, fishbone diagram, etc. on a regular basis for improved efficiency in quality and production. In 2016, they became the Marketing Manager and Product Marketing Specialist at Invixium.
Anshuman Kapoor received their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from Manipal Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2011. Anshuman then completed an MSc in Mechanical Engineering Design from The University of Manchester between 2011 and 2012. After that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Schulich School of Business - York University between 2015 and 2017. Anshuman Kapoor's educational history began at Delhi Public School Ahmedabad, where they studied between 2000 and 2007.
