Kevin Pohlman PE, PMP

Kevin Pohlman has a strong work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kevin is currently the Vice President of Engineering at InVue since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at TTI Floor Care North America from October 2018 to December 2020. During their tenure at TTI Floor Care, Kevin led a team of 65 technical staff and was responsible for various departments including Quality Engineering, Test Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Project Management. Kevin also managed an $11M annual operating budget and a $15M annual capital expenditure budget.

Before joining TTI Floor Care, Kevin worked as the Sr. Director Cordless and Advanced Development for a brief period of time from June 2018 to October 2018. Kevin also served as the Sr. Manager of Electrical Engineering from January 2017 to June 2018, where they led a team of 9 engineers and was responsible for the development of Printed Circuit boards and firmware for vacuum cleaners.

Prior to their tenure at TTI Floor Care, Kevin worked at Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems, Inc. as a Program Manager from May 2004 to January 2017. In this role, they managed the Technology Development and Engineering and Manufacturing Development of sensors for detecting and identifying biological weapons. Kevin successfully managed multiple product lines, handled customer proposals, budgets, and profit and loss.

Kevin's work experience also includes a role as an Adjunct Instructor at UNC Charlotte from January 2014 to January 2016.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated their expertise in engineering, project management, budgeting, and personnel management. Kevin'sbroad range of experience makes him well-suited for leadership roles in engineering and technology development.

Kevin Pohlman PE, PMP holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton. Kevin also obtained a Certification in Systems Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science - MS in Engineering Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

In terms of additional certifications, Kevin Pohlman has completed various courses and obtained certifications throughout their career. These include the "Azure Machine Learning Development: 1 Basic Concepts" certification from LinkedIn in February 2021, the "Python Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn in January 2021, and the "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning" certification from LinkedIn in December 2020.

Furthermore, Kevin Pohlman obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification for South Carolina from the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors in February 2017. Prior to that, they obtained the Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Program Management Institute in September 2016. Kevin also holds the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Central Piedmont Community College, obtained in April 2006.

Lastly, Kevin Pohlman holds an inactive Secret Clearance from the United States Department of Defense, which they obtained in January 2003.
