Y.(Corey) Chen, Ph.D.

Y.(Corey) Chen, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in software engineering and data analysis. They started their career as a Data-driven Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Saskatchewan, where they designed experiments, collected data, and applied statistical models to gain insights into human learning, memory, and cognition.

After their research role, Chen joined the Douglas Mental Health Institute & McGill University as a Data and Full Stack Software Developer. In this position, they built data processing pipelines, established and maintained a LORIS database to meet user needs at the Institute.

Currently, Chen works as a Software Engineer (Full Stack) at InVue, a position they started in 2021.

Y. (Corey) Chen, Ph.D. began their education at Henan University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, with a focus on Management Psychology. Y.(Corey) then pursued further studies and attended Nanjing Normal University from 2007 to 2013. During this period, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience. Lastly, Y. Corey Chen completed their education at the University of Saskatchewan from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
