Rohan Panda

Rohan Panda has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Rohan is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Inworld AI since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they worked on a research project on low resource generalized object segmentation as part of Prof. Marios Savvides' research group from August 2022 to February 2023. Rohan also worked as an ML Engineering Intern at Moveworks from May 2022 to September 2022.

Before joining Carnegie Mellon University, Rohan was a Graduate Research Assistant there, where they worked on solving and simulating minmax optimization problems in distributed machine learning and federated learning systems under the supervision of Dr. Gauri Joshi and Dr. Pranay Sharma from January 2022 to May 2022.

Rohan's work experience also includes a Summer Internship at UC San Diego from April 2021 to January 2022, where they gained valuable industry experience. Rohan served as a Research Intern at the University of Alberta from May 2020 to March 2021, working on a research project focused on deep learning and domain adaptation applications in neuroimaging data under the guidance of Dr. Russell Greiner and Dr. Sunil Vasu Kalmady.

Additionally, Rohan has worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from January 2020 to May 2020. Rohan collaborated with Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tripathy on building a smart healthcare system based on classification analysis of heart-related ailments using signal processing and deep learning techniques.

Rohan also gained industry experience as a Project Intern at LV PRASAD EYE INSTITUTE HYDERABAD from May 2019 to July 2019. Rohan'searliest work experience was as a member of the A.I. Team at Pixxel from December 2017 to July 2019.

Rohan Panda obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Data Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Rohan did not provide information about the start and end years for this degree.
