Anita Vedel Christiansen

Anita Vedel Christiansen is an experienced professional in clinical operations with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Operations at IO Biotech since November 2017, Anita has previously held multiple roles including Director of Clinical Operations and Senior Clinical Trial Manager. Prior to joining IO Biotech, Anita worked at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2002 to October 2017, where responsibilities included Head of Nordic Clinical Project Leaders and Clinical Project Leader. Earlier in the career, Anita was a Project Manager at Medicon A/S from 1997 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Pharmacy from Danmarks Farmaceutiske Universitet, obtained between 1990 and 1996.
