Julio Velasco

Julio Velasco is the President and Founder of IO SCADA since March 2025, bringing extensive experience in technology solutions management from roles at E Tech Group and Automation Group. In these positions, Velasco was responsible for developing preliminary solutions by understanding customer requirements and promoting a diverse portfolio of technologies. Prior teaching roles included PLC and HMI programming at Merced Community College District. Earlier career highlights include design services and controls engineering roles at companies such as Inductive Automation and Calmetrics Company, focusing on SCADA/HMI development and system integration. Velasco holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Modesto Junior College and has a solid foundation from various educational institutions.
