Marcos D. Franceschini has over 13 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Marcos D. started their career in 2003 as an R&D Undergraduate Student at the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, where they designed and constructed a hybrid rocket motor with thrust closed loop control system and a small hybrid rocket motor. In 2006, they joined the same institution as an R&D Engineer and Teaching Assistant. There, they designed, manufactured, assembled and started up experimental electrolytic reactors for hydrogen and oxygen production. In 2007, they joined INVAP as a Business Development Engineer, later becoming Projects & Systems Engineer, Engineering Division Manager, and Spacecraft Subsystem Engineer. In 2017, they became the CEO & co-founder of Skyloom Global.
Marcos D. Franceschini attended Scuola Italiana Cristoforo Colombo from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Liceo Scientifico degree. Marcos D. then attended Aerokern Flight School from 1998 to 1999 and received an Aircraft Private Pilot License / certificate in the field of Aircraft private pilot. Marcos D. went on to attend Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics degree in the field of mechanical engineer. Finally, they attended the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 and completed the Skydeck program.
