Blanka Collis

Blanka Sengerova Collis has extensive experience in project management and research support, currently serving as Project Manager for Research Support at IOCB Prague since November 2016, where responsibilities include administering the Equal Opportunities agenda and supporting researcher development. Previously, Collis held roles as Equal Opportunities Officer and Project Manager for the Grants Office, where duties encompassed preparing and monitoring the Equal Opportunities Plan and assisting researchers with grant applications. Blanka's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Sheffield and a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, Collis has engaged in various roles in education, including teaching interactive science to children, and has honed a diverse skill set through parenting and various positions in research and outreach functions.
