Gijs Besselink

Gijs Besselink is a creative professional with extensive experience in digital art direction and design. Presently serving as a Creative AI pioneer and Art Director at iO since February 2015, Gijs has led teams to create high-quality, brand-consistent online designs. Previously held positions include Digital Art Director at Mangrove and Redhotminute, alongside roles in interactive design at Studio Dumbar. Early career experience includes work as a Flash animator and developer at Prezent Internet BV. Gijs holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from AKV St. Joost, completed in 2005, and has foundational education from Pauluslyceum, culminating in HAVO and MAVO degrees.
