Jason Lewis

Jason Lewis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of user experience (UX) design and development. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Senior Manager for Helpdesk & Desktop Services at Koch Industries before transitioning to the role of Web Designer & Developer. In 1999, they joined Siemens as a Web Designer & Developer for a year and then moved on to WhisperWire, Inc. In WhisperWire, they served as a Senior User Interface Designer & Developer, responsible for the frontend development and user interface strategy of their telecom configuration platform. WhisperWire was acquired by Convergys Corp in 2004.

Jason then joined Crimson as the User Experience Lead & Creative Director, where they played a vital role in branding, website design, marketing materials, and frontend development. Jason also worked on concept models, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs. After four years, they transitioned to The Advisory Board Company, where they initially served as the Director of User Experience, leading the experience strategy, interaction design, and visual design for multiple healthcare technology product launches. Jason then became the Senior Director of User Experience and led the User Experience organization within the Crimson technology division. In this role, they recruited and managed a team of frontend engineering, user research, user experience strategy, user interface design, and platform development professionals.

As a Freelance Contractor, Jason's projects included designing company identity, marketing materials, online/offline user journeys, and user interface prototypes for NextStepCare, a startup. Jason also worked as the User Experience Director & Creative Advisor for GiftSimple, where they designed the identity, marketing materials, and entire user experience for a social media gifting application.

Jason then joined Optum as the Principal of User Experience, continuing their work from their time at The Advisory Board Company. Jason served as the principal UX designer for high-visibility projects and led the UX efforts for the redesign of UnitedHealth Group's corporate website.

In 2019, Jason Lewis joined Iodine Software as the Director of User Experience.

Jason Lewis attended Del Mar College from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Architectural Sciences and Technology.
