Sven Ballschmiede

Sven Ballschmiede has extensive experience in the flavor and fragrance industry, serving as Executive Director for various organizations including the International Organization of the Flavor Industry since May 2016, the German Association of the Fragrance Industry from May 2008 to May 2016, and the European Flavour Association between 2013 and 2016. Additionally, Sven held executive positions at the German Association of the Flavour Industry and practiced as an Associate at Gide Loyrette Nouel between 2004 and 2008, specializing in European Law and International Trade Law. Early career experiences include traineeships at the European Commission in the areas of competition and trade. Sven holds a Diplom in European Integration from Europa-Institut, Saarland University, a Second State Examination in Law, and a First State Examination in Law from the Universität des Saarlandes, with additional studies at the University of Lausanne.
